This watercolor on paper was created by Jean Vinay (1907-1978). The technique is interesting, and the colors have remained fresh.
Jean Vinay (1907-1978) was a French painter and engraver. Jean Vinay quickly became a great name in painting, recognized by all as "Le peintre de Paris". His reputation spread beyond France's borders, and much of his work was sold abroad. He was welcomed by museums and included in major collections.
For the more fastidious, we'd like to point out a few minor defects: yellowing of the margin, two scratches on the glass and on the wood of the frame, and the paper on the back is peeling off.
Our photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the work.
