Arthur du Passage is a French sculptor and illustrator born June 24, 1838 and died February 1, 1909.
Arthur du Passage was born in the castle of Frohen le Grand, son of Édouard, Count of Passage, and Sidonie Perrot de Fercourt. A former student of Saint-Cyr, he began a career as a cavalry officer while taking sculpture lessons in the studio of Antoine Louis Barye and in that of Pierre Jules Mène.
