Superb collage with constructivist motifs by Camille Bryen (1907-1977) on a black and white nude photographic print by Remy Duval.
Dated 1937, monogrammed CB in the lower left corner.
This is one of the earliest works by the famous artist Camille Bryen. Camille Bryen is the artist name of Camille Briand, he was born in Nantes (France) in 1907 and died in Paris in 1977, French poet, painter and printmaker belonging to the "New School of Paris", lyrical abstraction and tachism.
