This lithographic poster was created for the exhibition "Editions Céramiques" at the Madoura Gallery in Vallauris, France.

The Madoura gallery/studio, run by Suzanne and Alain Ramie, hosted Picasso from the late 1940s to the mid-1950s.

During this period, Pablo Picasso created and exhibited many ceramics.

The gallery remained the sole publisher of Picasso's art ceramics.
