Exceptional for its quality of execution, large lithograph portrait of Judith presented in a baroque medallion frame, in shades of ochres and browns, based on the painting by Horace Vernet "Judith and Holofernes".
Lithograph colored in the Goupil workshops by the master colorist to serve as a reference model for other colorists.
Judith is represented in a brown oval medallion, designed and created by the master colorist of the Goupil workshop.
Highlighted with gouache, watercolor and gum arabic.

Very much in the taste of Franco Maria Ricci, (1937-2020) the famous Italian publisher, who used it for one of the covers of the famous art magazine: F.M.R. which he created in 1982.
