Christian Jacques Boullaire (1893-1976) was a French draughtsman, engraver and painter. He illustrated numerous works, executing various types of engraving (woodcuts, burins, drypoints, etchings, lithographs...). In 1959, Jacques Boullaire was appointed official painter to the French Navy. In 1992, he was honored at the Salon de la Marine, held at the Musée National de la Marine in Paris.
