This lithograph entitled "Le scieur de bois" bears Toffoli's pencil signature and a print number at the bottom left.
It is old and in good general condition. We note rust spots around the edge of the lithograph, the tape on the back is old, however this lithograph remains in a very good general condition.
Louis Toffoli (1907-1999) painter and lithographer, successively Austro-Hungarian, then Italian and French, Toffoli devoted a period of his work to working on light in lithography. He exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants paintings inspired by the world of work, one of the strong themes of his work.
