This lithograph, "La Féérie des Heures - L'aube," bears a red stamp in the lower right corner. The work is authentic and old.
Regarding its condition, note small spots in places on the lithograph. There is a difference in size between the top and bottom margins, and a crease in the right margin.
The lithograph's color is very fresh; once framed, most of the flaws will be barely visible.
Henri Rivière (1864-1951) was a French painter, engraver, and illustrator. He began his career with drawing, then with intaglio prints, specifically etching, in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and set designer, in 1886, for the shadow theater at the Cabaret du Chat Noir, shows he enhanced with the creation of highly innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving, establishing himself in the history of etching, printmaking, woodcuts, lithography, and watercolor (he painted approximately a thousand watercolors).
