This lithograph, entitled "La Neige", is signed Henri Rivière and stamped with a red stamp.

It is authentic and old.
Sold as presented. There are folds in the lower left and center, a trace of ink on the right, a smudge in the sky and a smudge above the rocks in the lower left. However, the lithograph remains presentable.

Henri Rivière (1864-1951) was a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing, then with intaglio engraving, specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he embarked on a career as a stage director and set designer, in 1886, of shadow plays at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating highly innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving, making a name for himself in the history of etching, woodcutting, lithography and watercolor (he painted around a thousand watercolors).
