This lithograph is signed by Henri Rivière and stamped in the plate with a red stamp.
There are traces of ink in the top and bottom margins, small stains in the margin, stains to the right of the large boat and small stains in the foliage at the top.
However, the work has remained fresh in color, and is still quite presentable.

Henri Rivière (1864-1951) was a French painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career as a draftsman, then moved on to intaglio engraving, specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he embarked on a career as a stage director and set designer, in 1886, of shadow plays at the Chat Noir cabaret, shows that he improved by creating highly innovative color sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving, making a name for himself in the history of etching, woodcutting, lithography and watercolor (he painted around a thousand watercolors).
