"Danaé" is a stunning antique lithograph by Hyacinthe-Louis-Victor-Jean-Baptiste Aubry-Lecomte, printed in Paris at F.Noel publisher in 1826. The print is based on a work by Anne-Louis Girodet-Trioson and is of remarkable quality, with excellent condition. It measures 18.9x 13.82 inches on Chinese paper, or 26.37 x 19.96 inches on wove paper. We have performed a usual restoration to make it ready to frame.

This lithograph is featured in the book "Lithography: 200 years of Art, History & Technique," edited by Domenico Porzio and reproduced on page 57.
