    From a very old aristocratic family from Aveyron, Renaud de Vézins was a painter and engraver; around 1927 he produced 25 etchings serving as illustrations for the book "Les Châteaux de l'ancien Rouergue" written by his cousin Pierre-Christian d'Yzarn-Freissinet, Marquis de Valady.
