It represents a group of 4 small putti playing on a beach between the water's edge and rocks topped with an ancient ruin in the style of the painter Hubert Robert, famous for his neoclassical compositions. Beautiful composition from the beginning of the reign of King Louis XVI characteristic of the neoclassical movement that spread across Europe and France at the end of the 18th century following the discovery of the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum in the Kingdom of Naples!
