The Coronation of King Charles Engraving by Jazet, presented in its very beautiful wooden and stucco frame gilded with gold leaf from the Charles X period.

A beautiful royalist historical souvenir, the coronation of Charles X is the last of the Bourbon dynasty. The moment represented is that of the enthronement, when the Archbishop of Reims, Jean-Baptiste de Latil, launches his “Vivat Rex in aeternum”.

It is interesting to note that this painting represents 3 kings of France, Charles X who is crowned, his son the Dauphin, the Duke of Angoulême and future Louis as Prince of the Blood and future King Louis Philippe.
