Original drawing signed Isabelle Duval (1957-...) and dated 2023. Done in gray pencil, it depicts our Jane as a child in the 1950s with her cuddly toy, a stuffed monkey nicknamed "Munkey". Inspired by a photograph in Andrew Birkin's private collection.

"Jai ecrit mon journal à partir de 11ans adressée à Munkey, mon confidant, ce singe en peluche offert par mon oncle, gagné dans une tombola. He slept beside me, shared my life with John, Serge, Jacques, and witnessed all the joys and sorrows. Rereading my diaries, it's clear to me that we never change.
