Born in Nice, France, Marie Tissot comes from an Italian-Tuscan family. At a very young age, she was attracted to art. particularly painting and drawing.
She studied at the Visual Art School in Nice, then joined the European Academy of Art in Trier, Germany. During her career, she worked in numerous studios and shared space with a famous Belgian painter who remained her mentor.
