A student at the École des Beaux-Arts in Angers, Victor-René Livache was director from 1921 to 1944. A painter and draughtsman born in Angers, he worked for numerous churches.
He produced frescoes, decorative paintings and stained-glass windows, notably for Saint Maurice Cathedral in Angers.
