Large charcoal drawing with white chalk highlights on bistre paper, representing a little girl wearing a feathered hat and a Punch rattle (carnival day?). Very beautiful work, great dexterity, for this typical drawing from the end of the 19th century, very well preserved. Period pitch pine frame in very good condition. I put a pass everywhere to avoid rubbing the chalk on the window and I changed the cardboard with the too damaged back. Do not expose to direct sunlight for its conservation.
