These are drawings or blueprints made by a Compagnon du Devoir carpenter in the 19th century. Everything was done by hand and presents a set of plans for frames and stairs.

This drawing will be delivered rolled (the drawings were rolled, we laid them flat to photograph them). For the condition, we note multiple tears, stains.

Among the Compagnons carpenters and stonemasons the heart of the transmission of knowledge and the study of projective geometry for cutting wood and stones, which is also called "descriptive" or, quite simply, the "Trait". To simplify, this method makes it possible to draw each of the parts making up a vault or a frame according to its true size, which greatly facilitates the transition from design to execution.
