Charles Camille Morin (1846 - 1919)
A French painter in the wake of the Barbizon school, he painted landscapes of Ile-de-France, Brittany and the Midi. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1889 to 1898, becoming a member in 1897. From 1888 to 1890, he published columns and reviews in the journal des Artistes, some under the byline of Camille Miron. He invented a system of models reproducing the movement of figures, for studio painting in the absence of a model.
