This is a watercolor, gouache on paper with protective glass. This work is a mixed technique, probably oil and gouache. It depicts a sailor in a bar, a beautifully treated interior scene from the 1930s.
Note that we have left the protective glass on, which explains the reflections on the photos. The overall condition of the work is quite good.
