* Yvonne Jean-Haffen (1895-1993):
painter, engraver, illustrator and ceramist. (Ec fr). Student of Mathurin Méheut, worked first in Quimper (painting on wood and ceramics) then at the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres. Exhibited in 1924 at the Salon des Artistes français; then at the Nationale des Beaux-Arts of which she is a member. Also participates in the Salons of Decorators, of the Navy, of Women Painters; invited to the Salon of Drawing and Water Painting. Private exhibitions in Paris, Brest, Saint-Brieuc, Rennes, Dinan, Nancy, etc. She made numerous decorations on the liners of the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique and Messageries Martitimes. Secretary of the Society of Friends of Mathurin Méheut, she also administered the Lamballe Museum for a long time. (Cf Bénézit)
