This ribbed glass supported by a small foot is octagonal in shape. In crystal, it is deeply cut and chiseled on the wheel of a sylvan landscape where on one side there is a deer, head raised and on the other a hare. The high quality work is comparable to Karl Pfohl (1826-1894), an artist from Bohemia renowned for the depth and relief of his works and who created numerous hunting scenes. From the second half of the 19th century, this glass is in a good state of conservation, although one or two tiny little chips should be noted on the base.
Height 17 cm.
