Large frosted pressed glass platter from the Art Deco period, featuring a relief decoration of birds and fish, signed "Verlys France".
Verlys was a glassworks located in Les Andelys and operated in the art glass department from 1925 to 1946. Since 1933, it has specialized in the production of pressed glass, a level of perfection that rivals the most illustrious houses of the time, such as Sabino or Lalique.
Good overall condition, note some scratches from use on the back of the platter.
