This elegant vase, of ovoid form, has a flared neck and rests on a small pedestal, in opaline, it dates from the years 1830-1840, the body is decorated with a frieze of flowers, with bright and vivid colors, hand-painted on the body.
This vase is related to the work of Jean François Robert who was a painter on porcelain in Sevres in the first half of the nineteenth century. He directed a workshop of decoration on opaline installed in Sèvres near the royal manufacture.
