Baccarat opaline crystal bonbonnière, white and blue, decorated with orientalist gilding. The shape simulates a pumpkin with a handle on the lid. Circa 1840 - mid-19th century.

A fine decorative object, typical of its period when orientalism and Turkish taste were back in fashion.

Nice collector's item in good condition, no chips, fresh gilding with some local wear.
