Large satin-finish glass piriform vase with floral pansy design in shades of blue and black.
Signed "Leune" in a cartouche. Verrerie LEUNE (1861-1930) specialist in hot-fixed enamel (France).

A beautiful decorative piece, with its volume and delicate decorative style.
In very good condition, with only a chip on the outside of the neck.
Leune produces medicinal glassware, porcelain, bowls and vases decorated with idyllic and romantic landscapes, birds and flowers. Glass objects are painted with heat-set enamel. Leune closed its doors after the Great Depression of 1929.
