<meta charset="UTF-8" />Faceted cut crystal wine decanter / cognac decanter / whiskey decanter. Produced in Le Creusot in the 1830s and 1840s. It may also have been produced by Baccarat when the latter acquired the Le Creusot factory, taking over its molds and catalogs.

The 1840 Baccarat catalog lists this "pear-shaped decanter with cords."

A fine collector's item, one of the first "production models," our Restoration period decanter is approximately 180 years old and in very good condition.
