Series of 6 Baccarat crystal overlay Rhine wine glasses, Burgos model; 6 assorted colors: cobalt blue, fir green, chartreuse (aniseed) green, pink, amethyst and orange, the rarest and most difficult color to obtain.
The Burgos service is a fine high-end model from the early 1930s, with a slender tulip shape, hexagonal leg and star-shaped base. It is listed in the 1933 tableware catalog.
Our glasses bear the Baccarat signature on the stem.
All in very good condition. A microchip on the edge of the orange glass, almost invisible and not weakening the glass.
