Elephant-foot vase in multi-layered glass, finely cameo engraved with landscapes of mountains and fir trees reflecting on a lake, in shades of blue, brown and ochre on a shaded opalescent yellow ground, brown towards the base. Cameo signature in the Gallé decoration.
This series was produced to mark the exile of Alsatians to Lorraine during the 1870 war.
