An astonishing and rare format, our decanter belongs to the very superior category of Baccarat crystal productions, listed in certain catalogs from the beginning of the last century. The highly intricate decoration and perfection of execution are a measure of Baccarat's technical supremacy. This richly carved decoration is known as the Lagny service.
An antique piece dating from before 1936, it does not bear the crystal maker's acid-etched signature, but it has retained its rare Papier label.
It is in perfect condition, for the discerning collector: crystal clear, no white haze, no chips.
