Large ART DECO period vase by LE VERRE FRANÇAIS.
It is made of multi-layered, acid-etched glass with a powder pink dahlia design, lined with powder purple glass, with a mauve-tinted purple gradient on the lower part.

A very beautiful, high-quality vase in excellent original condition, very vibrant and fresh, with no notable flaws (no dents, cracks, or chips).

The “Le Verre Français” trademark was registered in 1918 by CHARLES SCHNEIDER, an Art Deco master glassmaker and formerly a collaborator at DAUM.

This collection of vases and bowls features a plant-based design that was particularly popular with American customers at the time. Its richness lies in the wide variety of acid-etched designs, which contrast the materials (smooth versus matte). The colors used are less prolific than the Schneider line, also created in 1918. Its wide distribution allows it to be profitable despite the additional work involved in acid etching.
There are three signatures that identify the “Le Verre Français” vases:
