Lovely little oak bonnetière from the 17th century

This LOUIS XIII period hosiery comes from a castle kitchen in Périgord. It was used for storage or perhaps a pantry.
Relatively rustic with straight legs, it opens with a door on the front made up of 4 panels.
Paneling also found on the sides. There are 3 shelves

It originally had to be completely painted, because we find decorations of different colors on the inside of the door.
We find on the outline of the panels on the east facade on the sides a red paint which was preserved during the restoration of this piece of furniture.

The lock is in working order

Interesting piece of furniture due to its size.
