    This wardrobe is made of oak, it is topped with a very beautiful double-hanger cornice which is decorated with a kind of pattern in the form of a coat of arms in the center, these cornices are commonly called: "in a gendarme's hat". It opens with two doors, richly molded, which include three panels each. It is supported at the front by two curved legs which are projecting, the low front crosspiece is scalloped and carved with three large sunflower flowers. If this kind of furniture was in the home of wealthy people, in bourgeois residences, it is a provincial production, it is decorated with motifs, flowers, hearts, rosettes that are popular art. Production of Eastern France in oak from the end of the 18th century. It reached us in excellent condition and has retained its original key and lock.
