Pedestal table in black marble and marble inlay Florence 19th century

An elegant and rare octagonal pedestal table in black marble and marble inlay. The black marble baluster foot rests on a three-legged base, supporting an octagonal top decorated with marquetry of marbles and hard stones: Gris de Sainte Anne, Brèche de Montmeyan, Duquesa Rosa, Coquillier de Bilbao, Rouge de Vérone, Griotte rouge, Brèche de Vimine, Trets, Noir amande, Sienne ... in a frame of malachite filet.

Beautiful Italian work, certainly Florence mid-nineteenth century.

Sizes: H 23.62 In. - W 28.34 In. cm - D 21.06 In.

In fine original condition. Minor restorations to the malachite fillets and small chips to the base.
