Pedestal table forming a 2-storey revolving library. This small bookcase has 8 compartments. Made of natural wood.
The top is in marquetry, the compartments are in carved wood. The feet form a tripod and end in a lion's paw.
The belt of the tray is embellished with a carved wooden gallery.
This pedestal table is attributed to Gabriel Viardot or one of his followers. Very nice example of the factory of this period with a very decorative pattern.
This library pedestal table is in good condition despite a few minor flaws. It is very stable and the compartments turn easily. The furniture can be used daily.
