Louis XVI Half Moon System Mahogany Table
Circa 1780
Superb Three-Top Console, Round and Game Table in Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer from the Louis XVI period. Resting on five fluted tapered legs inlaid with gilded brass and terminating in Sabots and Roulettes.
This table is multi-purpose, its tops forming a console table, a half-moon table, a round table or a game table. Its First and Second Tops are in Mahogany, while the Third Top of the Games Table is lined with Green Felt. Rich ornamentation of Bronze and Gilded Brass such as Fluting, Castors, Shoes, Frames, Rings. Each Tray is encircled by a Gilded Brass Mould.
Furniture of Exceptional Quality, close to Molitor's own productions. Beautiful Mahogany and Flamed Mahogany woods. Beautiful finish.
