Library pedestal table or tea table in lemon and mahogany veneer, white marble top in a gallery. The octagonal shaft simulates fluting and rests on a tripod base with castors. The pedestal table has a tilting top for storage against a wall. Louis XVI / Directoire period, late 18th century.

The format is unusual, and the pedestal table is light and elegant. A fine piece of amateur furniture.

Very good condition, the old varnish has been cleaned and revived by our cabinetmaker. Some traces of previous restorations.
