Beautiful tripod Gueridon from the Consulate period, in mahogany and mahogany veneer.
This model called "with griffins", characteristic of the Consulate, is composed of three heads, shanks and claw feet in lacquered wood, representing the legendary animal.
The tripod is joined, in its middle, by a very elegant spacer tablet in lacquered wood.
The whole is topped with its circular top in gray Sainte Anne marble in very good condition.

Beautiful state of conservation, recent careful restoration.
Consulate period, around 1800.
