Solid walnut dressing table, Louis XVI style - 1900 / 1920

Dressing table in solid Walnut, Louis XVI style, with Psyche type mirror, maintained by two carved amounts. Blocking pivots, in brass cut in Pine Balls, make its inclination adjustable. This Sober Mirror, benefits from a wooden frame with discreet mouldings.
This piece of furniture is composed of an overhanging top with a mitre-cut frame. Its central part is covered with a fabric with yellow patterns on a red background, in very good condition, but that we can, if we wish, easily replace. This top is protected by a Glass with rounded edges, transparent and removable.
The belt of this Dressing table sees its central part curved. It offers two drawers assembled with dovetails, with sides in Beech and backs in Mahogany. Both are equipped with brass knobs.
The set rests on four tapered and fluted legs, with wooden rings on the ends.
One will note the presence of discrete white traces on the structure of this property, vestiges of its former painting. But this irregularity undoubtedly brings Charm to this Dressing Table already full of Elegance. We will also appreciate the possibility of Personalizing and Reinventing this piece of furniture ad infinitum, simply by changing its upholstery fabric, which we will adapt according to the evolution of our desires or our Decoration.
