This small Louis XVI table in rosewood, stained wood and rosewood marquetry features a slightly cupped, meticulously carved circular top, a testament to the skills of the craftsmen of the period. Flowers and foliage are inlaid on a butterfly-wing rosewood veneer. The furniture features a drawer in the waistband that pulls out from underneath, and on the opposite side, a leather pull with a gilded vignette. This belt is also inlaid with flower garlands and bows in the Louis XVI style. Finally, this table rests on four spindle-shaped legs ending in brass sabots. A beautiful piece that will seduce you with its dimensionality and refined ornamentation.
