Small mahogany table stamped "Maison Lemarchand, A.Lemoine 17 rue des Tournelles à Paris".
Official supplier to the Duc d'Orléans and later to Napoleon III, Maison Lemarchand was founded by Louis Edouard Lemarchand, who joined forces with André Lemoine before handing over the reins of the company to his own son Henri Lemoine.
This small table opens at the waist with a wooden knob drawer.
Underneath, a flap provides storage space.
This functional piece of furniture features two flaps to extend the top.
    The uprights are strangely turned.
They are joined by two spacer shelves.
The whole unit rests on four small castors for ease of movement.
This small, expandable table is ideal for occasional use, while offering interesting storage capacity.
