Large English Regency-style revolving pedestal table with a flame mahogany belt and four openable drawers and four trompe l'oeil drawers. The drawers are fitted with mahogany fronts and brass drop handles with rosettes.
The turntable rests on a pedestal with a column base supported by four fluted splayed legs with bronze foot caps on adjoining brass castors.
This large tambour table is topped by a circular mahogany top, darkened with its original leather and decorated with a gilded vignette around the edge and cold-finish vignettes.
A rare piece of fine furniture, this large English pedestal table was used as a game table. It will seduce you with its luminous hues and elegance.
