Lovely Servant Pedestal Table, in Lacquered Wood from the Napoleon III Period, Resting on a Tripod Base.
It Presents Two Circular Trays, The One in the Upper Part Made up of Six Ice-Based Compartments. This Pedestal Table is Decorated with a Japanese Decor in Black and Red Lacquer with a Golden Highlight.
Very Fine Quality of Execution, Attributed to La Maison Giroux, One of the Most Flourishing Parisian Luxury Stores of the 19th Century. Like the great Mercier merchants of the Ancien Régime, it sold small pieces of cabinetmaking, tablets and knick-knacks. Supplier to the Crown, the aristocracy and the bourgeoisie.
