Support cabinet Transition Louis XV - Louis XVI - 1st part of the 19th century

Support-height cabinet with two identical doors on the front, the centers of which are decorated with a rosewood veneer of four leaves (known as butterfly wings). Around, a net of tinted wood and lemon tree is embellished at the angles of Greek corners. The whole is surrounded by a 3 cm rim of amaranth.
The right door with genuine lock has a working key. We find a bronze entrance on each door, decorated with laurel flowers.
This in-between unit opens onto a storage space with two shelves on cleats and racks. The interior of the doors feature beautiful light mahogany surrounded by amaranth and original brass top and bottom clasps.
This small elegant piece of furniture has on each side two slightly rounded uprights at the top and chamfered on the greater part with the same composition of rosewood, stained wood and lemon tree fillet. At the bottom, each very slightly curved foot ends with a front and rear hoof.
The two sides of this piece of furniture are also treated with the same design in the choice of wood and the arrangement of the doors.
This small piece of furniture is topped with an original gray marble embellished with white, conforming to the shape of the piece of furniture with a groove around its periphery.
Harmonious and elegant, this Louis XV / Louis XVI transitional support unit will easily find its place in a refined interior.
