Reserve à Charbon of English origin, in solid Mahogany, opening by a flap tilting by the front. Its front is equipped with a handle in worked Bronze and a panel with flat bands with carved reasons. The interior is lined with a 30 cm deep zinc basin, removable and accompanied by its shovel.
In the upper part, this piece of furniture is equipped with a rectangular Mercury mirror with a bevelled edge and moulded frame. We will specify the presence of a trace of age on the right, alteration due to the 150 years of history of this original mirror.
The top is composed of a shelf, with curved edges, and moved on the front. It is itself surmounted by a pediment cut with floral decoration.
Note that the edges of the uprights of this Reserve à Charbon are triple grooved.
In addition to the two handles in chiseled Metal present on the sides, this piece of furniture rests on four casters, finishing to bring a big mobility to the set.
