Small solid walnut cabinet, designed in the Gothic spirit, opening in front by a door with generous moldings forming frames.
In the center, the panel is embellished with two calligraphed and entwined letters, perhaps an S mingling with an L. They are topped with a crown, probably that of an Earl. This door is equipped with a lock in working order accompanied by its key. In addition, it has the particularity of being blocked at the bottom by a latch, which is activated by pressing a button hidden under the Cabinet.
The interior is the result of beautiful cabinetmaking work. It offers six storage compartments formed by the presence of a vertical partition and four fixed shelves with eventful edges.
The uprights consist of four Twisted Columns, supporting a Capital. The latter has on its perimeter a frieze carved with a succession of circles. The wooden top of this Cabinet has wide overhangs with multiple moldings, just like the base on which it rests.
The whole is supported by two Boules feet at the front and two straight feet at the rear.
The sides are also ornate, and are embellished with prominent Fleurs de Lys.
We will give our Confidence to this Small Decorative Furniture with double secure opening, which we will also appreciate for its Logeability.
