Small Semainier Retour d'Égypte, in Birch mainly, opening by definition by seven drawers aligned vertically. Their fronts are in Pear tree and the assembly in Queues d'Arondes. The first one, less deep, that we could consequently attribute to Sunday, overhangs the six others. These last ones are provided for each one of them with a pair of handles of current drawing, round, held in the mouth of Lions.
The front amounts of this piece of furniture are Pilasters sheathed in both directions, namely in profile and front. They are surmounted by Patinated Bronzes of the period, representations of Egyptian busts with Nemeses headdresses. In the lower part, moldings with dark green color recalls these ornaments.
The top of this Semainier is a Grey marble with a fine White veining.
The set rests on four straight legs.
The inside of the drawers and the back of the Semainier are made of Oak.
This relatively narrow storage unit offers interesting dimensions. Moreover, we can only appreciate its nice warm color, which it owes to the harmonious mix of the two fruit trees that compose it.
