Small Mahogany Chiffonnier, Louis XVI style - End of XIXth century

Charming Louis XVI style Small Chiffonnier, made of solid Mahogany and Mahogany veneer. Its top consists of a white marble slightly shaded, surrounded by a brass gallery with openwork.
In the upper part, this piece of furniture opens in front with four identical drawers, called "à défoncement", with a slightly molded frame. Each of them is equipped with a Louis XVI bronze entrance, with original lock in working condition. Note that the sides and bottoms of these drawers are in oak.
The lower part is composed of a curtain door, made of small grooved and vertical mahogany elements, opening from left to right on an interior lined with a removable shelf. This opening is closed with a hook lock in working order, with its key.
The sides of this Chiffonnier are made of identical panels, separated by a crosspiece in the middle.
The solid mahogany uprights are trimmed with 3 grooves in the upper part, they end with a small turned spindle foot with stopped flutes, and end with a brass shoe.
The modest dimensions and the conveniences of arrangements which offers this Chiffonnier will enable him to find its place in various parts of your dwelling, like for example a room or an office.
