Mahogany furniture with two identical drawers on the front. These drawers are knockout and surrounded by strips and accompanied by interior moldings. They are equipped with lens buttons for drawing.
Above, a solid mahogany shelf with two bronze lens knobs can be pulled out to enlarge the upper surface of the cabinet.
Below, two doors have an atypical facade whose vertically arranged wooden elements resemble the spines of books. These doors are pulled by bronze lens buttons. Inside, we find a shelf. The uprights of this piece of furniture are square in section and have knockouts (on the front and on the sides). These feet end in a sheath and rest on a brass shoe.
The sides of the furniture are made up of a small panel at the top, at the level of the drawers, then a crosspiece and finally a larger panel.
This piece of furniture is topped with slightly veined Carrara marble surrounded by an openwork gallery.
The structure of the furniture, the sides and bottoms of the drawers are in oak.
